Beware of Pension Scams!

Sunday 10 August 2025
Scams are a serious threat. The impact of falling victim to one can be devastating, so it's crucial to stay vigilant. Our Administrator has processes in place to protect you, but no system is completely fool-proof.
Man upset, consoled by partner.

Here are some red flags to watch out for:

  • Unexpected contact: Genuine financial advisers are not allowed to 'cold call' —i t's illegal. So, if someone reaches out to you unsolicited, that's a major warning sign.
  • Too-good-to-be-true offers: If something sounds unbelievable or far too enticing, it probably is.
  • High-pressure tactics: Scammers often try to rush you into making decisions without giving you the chance to think it through or seek advice.
